Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has made a lasting impression across the screens. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. There, she embarked on a profession in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before she moved into Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of roles in acting, such as local independent movies and commercials. Despite the small roles, she discovered that she was a performer with a passion. When she moved into New York, in 2001 she got her first acting role in the show All My Children. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Then, she appeared in her role in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. This particular character has earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. Her most recent TV appearance was with NBC's rather dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The show was later cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Milano was born into the strictest and most religious family. Milano was first introduced to acting when she was seven years old. Her babysitter brought her for her first audition. She was one of the four girls chosen from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
